On display from the talented students of New College Lanarkshire’s Art and Design programmes is a vibrant showcase of diverse concepts, media, and techniques. This end-of-year exhibition represents the culmination of a full year of dedicated refinement, experimentation, and creative growth.

Throughout the year, students have worked instinctively and intuitively, developing bodies of work that both engulf and immerse. From personal exploration to bold, outward-facing narratives, this exhibition highlights the individuality and creative vision of each artist and designer. Every piece offers a distinct perspective, demonstrating the unique journeys and identities that have emerged from within the studio walls.

The 2025 cohort has been more than a group — they have become a creative family. Through collaboration, encouragement, and mutual support, they have nurtured each other’s growth and resilience. Their collective spirit is embedded in every brushstroke, every design, and every idea on show.

Many of the students exhibiting today are continuing their creative journey — progressing into further study at prestigious institutions such as Glasgow School of Art (GSA) and Forth Valley College, or continuing to develop their art practice independently. Their success is a reflection not only of their talent but also of their commitment, passion, and relentless pursuit of their creative ambitions.

The exhibition will be celebrated with a launch night on the 29th of May, from 6-9pm.
