The Darkbox Images Authentic Victorian Tintype Experience takes you through the history of photography as we make your portrait using the same process and chemistry the Victorians used in the 1850’s. We’ll take you through the process step by step and you see your image appear before your eyes. You walk away with a one-of-a-kind tintype portrait that will last several lifetimes.

A few tips before you arrive:

• Any text on your clothing will render in reverse.

• If you have a UV coating on your glasses, they could render very dark.

• The exposure time will be several seconds. We’ll have 2 head clamps available to help keep you still.
