Join us in the upstairs gallery space at the Creative Stirling Venue, located on King Street, Stirling, for the launch of “Playing with Wildfires” exhibition.

This exhibition is part an action-research initiative to investigate the lived experiences of communities affected by wildfires in the Chiquitania region of Bolivia. This region hosts one of the largest and best-preserved dry forests in South America and worldwide and has seen a drastic increase in wildfires since 2019.

The images shown are portraits of real people and places affected by wildfires, alternated to portraits and scenes from Forum Theatre performance work.

Come along to this free opening event to view the work and find out more about the project, with refreshments provided.
