Live Event Ticket: Saturday 22nd October, 1-5pm

Aimed at: Adults and 12+ with a participating adult

Come and spend the afternoon with Jenna of Moss and Mint, learning all about dried flowers, clay vases, and her minimalist style!

In this half day course you will get the chance to learn all about her miniature vase collections, and how to make them yourself. Choose from an array of miniature clay vase shapes to create your own collection, and learn how to choose a minimalist arrangement to suit your style.

During the workshop you'll see how a clay vase is created in each stage, from planning to creation, sanding and painting. Choose your own miniature vases to sand, paint, seal and add dried flowers to. The course will play out as follows:

- Introduction - share materials.

- Model and talk about how to create a miniature vase - free hand and using cutters.

- Time to create own clay vases - these can be taken home for the drying process. Attendees will be given an 'at home kit' that will have everything you need to complete your vases, including your own choice of paint colours.

- Model the process of sanding, painting and sealing.

- Time to choose from a selection of pre-made dried clay vases and complete the process of sanding, painting and sealing.

- Choose dried stems for vases and package them up.

Some light refreshments will be provided and the class will be relaxed so attendees can take breaks when needed. Sanding the clay can create some dust in the air so please be aware of this, the course will be held in a well ventilated area to help with this.

Cancellations must be made at least 3 days prior to receive a full refund. If you have any questions or want more information please contact reids@creativestirling.org.
