Abstract landscape artist Orla Stevens is back at Made in Stirling Store for two fabulous workshop this November.

In this 3 hour workshop, Orla will explore the links between colour and emotions with participants, through various drawing and painting exercises. As well as looking into colour, intuition and association, and how these ideas can translate into your painting. You will then get the opportunity to explore these newly learnt techniques in a landscape painting with Orla’s expert guidance on hand every step of the way!

About the artist:

Orla is a multidisciplinary Scottish artist, illustrator and designer, creating playful and atmospheric work led by expressive mark making, vibrant colours and handmade textures. Her work looks to connect people to nature: Inspired by the importance of creative play, exploration, improvisation and positivity that both her artistic process and being in the outdoors share.

Orla has a BA with Honours from Edinburgh College of Art in Textiles and Surface Pattern Design. Her work is held in public and private collections worldwide, and exhibited in galleries across Europe. She frequently create bespoke artworks commissioned for private and public spaces and projects.
